
The Imagine Volunteers website was created as a resource for Imagine Chancellor parents and teachers alike. The goal of the site is to give teachers and school administrators a forum to let parents know what kind of support they need in the classrooms and around the school. And now parents have an easy way of letting the school know when they are available to help and how.
We ask each family to donate 30 hours of volunteer service. This is just 3 hours per month. Studies show that volunteering directly impacts the success of the student. We believe that your participation at school is valuable to your child's education. The best way to ensure you complete your hours is to start right away. All school volunteers are required to complete a Palm Beach County Schools Volunteer Application form. This form includes security and background information each person must provide in order to be eligible to volunteer. Parents and/or legal guardians are allowed to volunteer at the discretion and review of the principal. All visitors/guardians must sign in at the front office. Visitors/Volunteers are not allowed to have other chidlren accompany them - NO EXCEPTIONS. This policy ensures safety, minimizes interruption and promotes full concentration in each activity on campus.
The Teacher Support page provides a detailed list of the tasks with which teachers need assistance and contact information for the classroom mom or dad. The Teacher Wish List page lists items teachers and students need. The Committees page lists additional volunteer opportunities and sign up information. The more we all use this website, the more effectively and efficiently we can help our kids progress.
